ObSTACLE CLINIC AND CSHA sanctioned CHALLENGE September 28, 29

DEHA OBSTACLE CLINIC & CHALLENGE

Please join us on September 28th and 29th. as we challenge our horses and ourselves over obstacles under a canopy of stately oak trees on beautiful Mt. Diablo. This event will be held in historic Cardinet Oaks located on the Concord Mt. Diablo Trail Ride Association's property. Obstacles will be made primarily from natural materials against a backdrop of lovely views. Clinic and Challenge tickets are sold separately.

Camping is also available on Friday and Saturday nights for an additional fee.

Online registration only - Registration closes 9/26, 6 PM or when 35 riders have registered

Clinic 9/28

Rene Turnbull (Head Clinician)

This clinic will focus on developing and/or enhancing specific skills that will help you successfully complete in obstacle challenges. Riders will be in groups of 4 to 5 and will negotiate 8 coached obstacles. We will be using a "shot-gun" start to get as many folks started on the obstacles.

7:30 am– Registration Opens (follow signs to registration)

8:00 Clinicians leave to walk the obstacles

8:30 am – All riders leave registration area for Cardinet Oaks

9:00 am– Rider's meeting

10:00 am- Rider groups on course

7:30 am– Registration Opens (follow signs to registration)

8:00 am - Judges leave to walk the course

8:30 am – All riders leave registration area for Cardinet Oaks

9:30 am– Rider's meeting

10:30 am- First rider on course

Online registrations only. Registration closes Thursday, September 26th at 6 PM. Sorry, no day-of registrations. We will be limiting the Challenge to 35 riders (first-come-first serve).

RELEASE OF LIABILITY..

Each participant and attendee must sign liability release forms for the following entities:

  1. DEHA (Diablo Equestrian Heritage Association)

  2. CMDTRA (Concord Mt. Diablo Trail Ride Association)

Parents/guardians must sign on behalf of children under 18-years-old. Please download and bring signed copies for faster check-in. Additional copies will be available at the registration table.
